Use of the website
You may not download, modify, transmit or otherwise use any material from the website for public or commercial purposes.

The website attempts to be as accurate as possible. However we do not warrant that descriptions or any other content on the website is accurate, complete, current or error free. We appreciate all feedback and ask you to email us info@dunedinvenues.co.nz with any points of concern.

This website is provided by Dunedin Venues on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no representations or warranties of any kind, expressed or implied, as to the operation of the site or the information, content or materials included on this site. Your use of the site is at your own risk. Dunedin Venues will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of the site, including, but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive and consequential damages.
Other policies
We reserve the right to make any changes to our website, policies and these Terms & Conditions at any time. If any of these conditions are deemed invalid, void or for any reason unenforceable, that condition shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition.

Terms of Entry
The Dunedin Centre is a world class facility which incorporates the Dunedin Town Hall, Glenroy Auditorium and Fullwood Lounge. The terms of entry referenced below is to ensure your experience is exceptional and ensures the safety of all attendees.
Ticketed events
Only patrons who provide a valid ticket or accreditation pass may access the Dunedin Centre
The event may or may not operate a pass out system. This decision rests with the Promoter of the event
Patrons displaying unacceptable behaviour will be denied entry or evicted from the Dunedin Centre
The Promoter reserves the right to alter the performance and performance timings at any stage

Patron safety and event experience
We want you to have the best experience possible and for this to happen you must adhere to the following:
You may be subject to a contraband search where you and your possessions may be screened. Failure to comply may result in you being refused entry or evicted. Refer to the section below of Prohibited Items
You are required to sit in your allocated seat or space
Clothing must conform to a reasonable standard of decency relevant to the event
You must have footwear
You must not block or obstruct any of the Dunedin Centre's exit doors
No smoking within the Dunedin Centre
Children under the age of 14 must be supervised by a responsible adult
CCTV is in operation
Patrons are requested to turn off cell phones within some events
Cameras, videos, tape recorders and other recording devices may be prohibited for certain events
You will be responsible for your belongings
No high visibility vests or gang patches
Venue staff have full and unrestrained rights to ensure the safety of all patrons at the event. This includes intoxication assessments and the right to deny entry and or evict patrons
Should you have any concerns with the event experience you must notify venue staff as soon as possible. The Promoter and or the Venue will determine the level of compensation based upon information provided during the event
Unacceptable behaviour
You will be denied access or evicted from the Dunedin Centre if you display any of the following behaviours as assessed by Dunedin Centre staff:
Intoxicated and or drug impaired
Smoke outside of the allocated areas
Bring in items that are not allowed
Supply alcohol to minors
Take unauthorised images or video
Access a restricted area
Damage or deface any part of the Dunedin Centre
Behave in an abusive and disruptive manner
Display advertising and or promotions without consent of the Venue's Operator and or Promoter
Patron and bag searches
All patrons and their possessions may be subject to searches before entering the Dunedin Centre during the event and when leaving.
Patrons who refuse to participate in searches may be denied entry to the Dunedin Centre or asked to leave the venue.
Prohibited items will be confiscated, these are listed but not confined to items listed below
Patrons may not bring into the venue
Beverages other than water in sealed clear plastic water bottles up to 1 litre in size
All alcohol
All soft drinks
All commercial products - including crisps, takeaways, chocolates, lollies etc. Includes these items being taken from packets and transferred into containers
Thermos flasks
Glass bottles or cans
Commercially produced takeaway food such as McDonalds, KFC, Subway, pizza etc
Chilly bins, picnic baskets or large bags
Illicit drugs
Sound amplifiers including loudhailers and air horns
Musical instruments
Recording devices for commercial purposes
Prams, strollers, pushchairs (limited storage facilities for these items are available, however the Dunedin Centre takes no responsibility for loss or theft)
Dogs or other pets (guide dogs are permitted)
Flares, fireworks, laser pointers, smoke bombs
Compressed gas containers and aerosols
Knives or other dangerous weapons
Skateboards, roller blades, scooters or bicycles
Chairs, stools or furniture of any kind
Signs or banners that are obscene, offensive, abusive
Any item that may compromise or otherwise interfere with the enjoyment, comfort or safety of any person or security at the venue
Any other item that Venue Management determines may cause injury or public nuisance or inconvenience to any other person
Food and beverage items permitted
Bottles of water with seals unbroken (up to 1 litre in size)
Homemade food - sandwiches, cakes, and fruit
Special foods for dietary requirements
Baby food and liquids
Small tetra-pak fruit juices
